OK, it is December, and it is time to survey your staff and yourself.

What worked? What didn’t work? What you should start doing to improve your business? This is a very simple survey. Simply take a sheet of paper and at the top left start the following:

1. What should we keep doing?
   3. Etc. (as many as you want)
2. What should we stop doing?
   3. Etc. (as many as you want)
3. What should we start doing?
   3. Etc. (as many as you want)

Once you get the results in, make an excel spreadsheet with all the answers. Put a column to keep track of the number of times people said the same thing. This will show you some priorities. You can then have a discussion about all these things people have said as well as what you have thought of.

And one last thing. I recommend that this be done anonymously. If you do this, be prepared to hear some things you may not want to hear. But, things you should hear!
