So what do I mean when I talk about your comfort zone? Everybody has their own comfort zone that they operate from. Picture the COMFORT ZONE as a target with a bulls-eye in the middle. The bulls-eye represents your comfort zone. This is the place that everybody likes to hang out in. It is very familiar there and absolutely NO personal growth takes place.

Then there is a ring outside the comfort zone and this is called the LEARNING ZONE. Every day has twenty four hours in it and for most humans it is hard not to learn something in that twenty four hour period. Albeit, some learn very little or close to nothing.

The next ring is the UNCOMFORTABLE ZONE. This is where real learning and growth takes place usually from an outside pressure or an inside desire.

The last ring is the PANIC ZONE. As a coach, if I get people into the panic zone, I usually get fired! All you want to do when you are in the panic zone is for the Pain to stop and you will do whatever you can to get back to the COMFORT ZONE.
